Fishing Report & Product Update
These Fish are IMPOSSIBLE to Catch!!
During these tough times, my friend John managed to get us a boat to go fishing offshore. All recreational fishing access has stopped in South Florida. Our goal was to catch anything we could. We started the day off fishing for amberjacks. These fish are nearly impossible to catch between the wreck and the bull sharks. A shark ate our amberjacks every time we hooked them within less than 10 seconds. The sharks made capturing these fish literary impossible! To my surprise, I managed to hook and land one of the bull sharks that ate my amberjack. We then went bottom in shallow water. John caught both a scorpionfish and a squirrelfish. While we were bottom fishing, I spotted a piece of wood floating. To our surprise, two triggerfish were lying on the floating wood like turtles. On our way back to the amberjack spot, we found a floating bucket with a school of tripletail. We managed to catch two tripletail from the bucket before a massive hammerhead came and ate some of the tripletail. We finished off the day fishing for more amberjacks and sharks. ▼ BlacktipH Products: http://bit.ly/blacktiph-shop ○ Subscribe to John → http://bit.ly/john-flora ▼ To learn more about the species of fish caught in this video, click the links below: • Scorpion Fish → bit.ly/scorpionfish-info • Squirrel Fish → bit.ly/squirrelfish-info • White Grunt → http://bit.ly/white-grunt-info • Bull Shark → http://bit.ly/bull-shark-info • Flying Fish → http://bit.ly/flying-fish-info ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ABOUT BLACKTIPH ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ BlacktipH Fishing brings you some of the most exciting fishing videos on the web. BIG LAND BASED Spanish Mackerel in the Persian Gulf #fff safaris #fishing of the rocks
In this episode, we fished from rocks in the town of Jubail in Saudi Arabia. We will be using stick baits targeting Narrow Barred Spanish Mackerel or Cuta as it's known in South Africa. This is a fish of lifetime of the rocks for me. 9'6" economic version of Black Hole rod for big striper
This striper could be the biggest on the trip and we got striper upto 35 lb. But unfortunately we lost the fish due to tangle with other boat. The light rod is designed for 1/2 oz - 2 oz, but I cast 3 oz Doc very comfortably. This 8.7 oz rod will be introduced by the end of 2017.
action of 9'6" prototype Black Hole rod for striper
The light rod weighs only 8.7 oz. It is designed for small game fish like suzuki, but I wanted to test the rod big striper. I landed about 10 striper in 20 lb - 35 lb range on heavy drag. Jeff landed the striper in no time on heavy drag. This is economic version.
machine test of light 9'6" Black Hole Suzuki Special rod
we did machine test for light 9'6" economic version of Black Hole rod today. The rod survived 9.76 kg (21.7 lb). We could go further, but the rod tip touched the bottom. I think 21. 7 lb is good enough for the the light rod for striper, snook or albies or drum.
